Loams is Apache-2.0 and fully open source, with no paid tier, so there is nothing to pay us. It runs on ground you own: your machines and your bucket. This estimates what your cloud provider would charge for them, from its public list prices as of 2026-10-23.

An estimate, not a quote. It excludes taxes, support plans, reserved, committed-use, savings-plan and spot discounts, credits, backups and snapshots, NAT gateways, load balancers, monitoring, and any traffic between regions or zones. Prices are on-demand list prices in one region per provider. Time-limited free offers are listed, never subtracted. A ~ marks a figure built on a price or an assumption we could not confirm on the provider's own page. Your bill depends on your workload, and Loams publishes no performance numbers for these sizes.
How it is sized
One node, sized from the release notes.
Node sizes come from the engine repository, not from benchmarks. The light default stack needs about 2 GB of free memory and idles near 1 GB; the full stack's TiKV, TiDB and PD add about 2 GB more. So light gets a 4 GB machine with a 30 GB disk, and full gets the 2 vCPU, 8 GiB machine that design 70 sets as the default BYOC VM, with a 50 GB disk.

install.sh, with a public IPv4 address for outbound traffic and no inbound ports. The deploy guides walk through each cloud. - Cloudflare: one
standard-2Container behind a Durable Object, with R2 as the bucket and metadata checkpointed to it. This template is designed (design 70, phase 0) but not built yet, runs one node, and offers neither the full stack nor Loams Postgres. - Vercel hosts no Loams data plane. The Vercel option is your apps and agents on Vercel, R2 as the bucket, and one VM on AWS, Google Cloud or Azure for the engine.
